To increase our sustainability, we have decided to invest in two photovoltaic systems. These systems were installed on our truck parking deck next to the Steel Center II, on the extension to the bending shop and on the roof of the mat bending shop.
The systems have a total output of approx. 2,000 kWp. Around 1,700,000 kWh of electricity is generated per year on a total of 11,500 square meters of roof area. This corresponds to the typical electricity consumption of over 420 households with 4 people each. This saves over 550 tons of CO2 per year!
The two systems were commissioned at the end of December 2021!

- Self-consumption: 542,880 kWh
- Feed into the grid: 92,617 kWh
